Sharing with advertising platforms

We use Google Ads, Google Customer Match, the Meta Pixel and Meta Custom Audiences, and similar advertising services to deliver relevant marketing to our customers and to people who may be interested in our products and services.

For this purpose, we may share cryptographically hashed (SHA-256) versions of your contact information — including your mobile number, email address, and city — with these advertising platforms. The hashing process means your raw contact details are not exposed to the platforms; the platforms can only match the hashed values against records they already hold to determine whether to show you our advertisements, suppress advertisements to you, or identify audiences that resemble our existing customers.

We share this hashed data for purposes including:

  • Showing relevant advertisements to our existing customers

  • Excluding existing customers from advertisements meant for new prospects

  • Identifying audiences similar to our existing customers (lookalike or similar audience modelling)

  • Measuring the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns

You may opt out of having your data used for these advertising purposes at any time by writing to our Grievance Officer at the contact details below. Opting out will not affect your ability to purchase from us or receive transactional communications, but you may continue to see generic, non-personalised advertising on Google, Meta, and other platforms.

Sharing of information with third parties

  • Service providers: We share information with vendors who help us manage our online registration process, payment processors, transactional message processors, logistics and delivery providers, call centre and telephony providers, customer relationship management software providers, cloud hosting providers, and analytics or advertising service providers.

  • Business partners: We share information with third parties who provide or sponsor events, who operate venues where we hold events, or who are otherwise involved in fulfilling our service obligations to you. These partners use the information we give them as described in their privacy policies.

  • Legal disclosure: We may share information if we think we have to in order to comply with the law or to protect ourselves. We will share information to respond to a court order or subpoena. We may also share it if a government agency or investigatory body requests, or if we are investigating potential fraud.

  • Business succession: We may share information with any successor to all or part of our business. For example, if part of our business is sold we may give our customer list as part of that transaction.

  • Other reasons: We may share your information for reasons not described in this policy. We will tell you before we do this.

We do not sell your personal information.
